Bringing new life & love to your old pieces.

Happy 4th of July with a little Cerise!!

Just one more day and it will be ~Happy 4th of July!!! We are full swing into our trip and celebrating Independence Day!!  I thought what better piece to share with you than something RED!!

This beautiful French buffet is one of the favorite pieces I painted.  I fell in love with it!! She wanted it only red but her husband wanted some kind of accent to draw out the details so we went with a light distressing and a little dirt!! Just gorgeous!!

Here she is before…

And here she is after, a painted French Buffet!! Beautiful Maison Blanche Vintage Cerise and dark brown wax with a little Le Dirt!

  13. Kelly Stanton says:

What color is the light shade around the details? I can’t really tell….trying to figure out if it’s a gray or blue shade.

    • The details were done with Maison Blanche’s Le Dirt it is an aging dirt that you add on top of wax and let dry and then wipe away the dust that didn’t stick to the wax…It is a gray shade.
