I am a huge fan of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers!! You all know I use them to distress furniture, beyond the amazing million other things I can use them for indoors!! Walls- Miss Mia helps keep them stocked around here they erase a lot of her handy artwork!! They are amazing for shower doors and soap scum.  But outside, that totally hadn’t crossed my mind to use them there!!

Saturday morning the boys were doing the yard and I decided to clean up the grill, fire pit, and Mia’s toys that were a mess!! Hello Mr. Clean!!!  You can check out lots of great tips for using Mr Clean products over at http://finditatlowes.com

P&G-products

I started with the fire pit.  Now, I admit it isn’t just weather that has this a mess!! I used it while doing my floors to hold the bucket when mixing grout and it got splattered a couple of times when I used the drill to mix…

As you can see, it had lots of grout flecks and it was stuck on good.  I used the Magic Eraser to and the Mr Clean Outdoor spray to clean it up.  It worked like a charm!! I did also use a small wire brush to help knock some of the bigger flecks off but it cleaned up great!! Which is great, s’mores time is ready now!!

Mr. Clean Outdoor Pro Multi-Purpose Spray is specially formulated to power through stubborn grease and grime outside your home. You’ll be all set with a shiny clean grill for all of your summer barbeques! I had a lot of stubborn grease to power through.  I cook on the grill but I don’t clean it… I do think that’s my hubby’s job!! So, when I cleaned this I said Happy Father’s Day early!!

I thought that was dirty until I removed the grates and found this…

under-the-grate-beforeand how do these things get so dirty that have a lid??

So, I was about to put the full test on Mr.Clean!! I even got my shopvac out!! I first sprayed the grilling plates down and used the wire grill brush to clean up and then rinsed off real well… Pulled out all of the heat tents {yes that’s my word for whatever those are!!} Did the same and really scrubbed a second time with the spray and magic eraser… those didn’t come perfectly clean but I don’t hold it against the cleaner it’s cooked on!!  Swept out the insides and wiped out with Bounty paper towels really well!!

I was truly impressed with the cleaner and myself for taking on such a gross job!! The cleaner smelled great- and cleaned up even better!!

I also cleaned up Mia’s toys!! Her water table is always getting cleaned up!! And this product I found made the job easy without having to use a harsh cleaner!! Which is good because she’s always finding her way on top and inside of it!!

I also received Tide Pod’s samples…. I am already a fan!! We use them when we go camping!! They don’t take up a lot of space and they are great for doing laundry on the go!!

I think cleaning up outdoors is always a chore but these products are meant specifically for the job at hand.  They do make it a simple and quick task!! I also love the Mr Clean multi-surface cleaner and had it on hand to use!! I love to buy my cleaning supplies at Lowe’s their prices are very competitive {if not cheaper than} and if you use coupons- you’re in luck, they take them!! So the next time you are at Lowe’s getting your paint, citronella candles, or light bulbs… be sure to check out all the great P&G products in their cleaning isle too!!
